Welcome to the web page of Hinckley Amateur Radio and Electronics Society
Formed on the 24th of November 1971 by 12 like minded individuals from Hinckley and the surrounding area with a view to bring together local Radio amateurs in the spirit of bettering amateur radio and raising awareness of what the hobby was all about.
over the years the club has evolved to do just that
we carry out a varied programme of events throughout the year and also provide training for both the Foundation and Intermediate licenses
the club currently meet every other week at

we also meet regularly at our shack location for on the air nights,practical demonstrations and for the members interested take part in radio related contests
